Jeffrey and Ginger have been married 15 years this past June.

Jeffrey is a LTC in the Army and is the Commander of a Field Artillery Battalion in Henderson . He is also currently deployed and serving as the commander of an Embedded Training Team in Konduz , Afghanistan.

Jeffrey and Ginger moved to Jackson in April, 2005 from NC. In the past year, we lived at Ft Bragg, NC and spent several months at the NC beaches, where we have a home. Last year, Jeffrey was stationed in DC, but spent most of that time traveling to places like Egypt.

Where is your favorite place to eat?

Chili's, Japanese would be a close second.

What is your favorite movie?

"Gone With the Wind" (mine). Jeffrey's "Green Berets".

Where is your favorite place to go on vacation?

Last year, I would have said the Caribbean - we have been often and love it there. Now, I would have the say the beaches of NC - I really miss it a lot. Jeffrey would agree, although he loves to visit his alma mater, UVA in Charlottesville, VA.

If you could do anything in the world without worrying about having enough money, education, or experience, what would you like to do?

I would like to spend about a year working on one of the Mercy Ships. Jeffrey would probably spend the year building stuff - he has a lot of tools and isn't afraid to use them!!

Ginger was born in Raleigh , NC and raised in the smalltown of Belhaven. Jeffrey was born and raised in Richmond, VA.

Ginger always wanted to be a nurse -"My grandmother was a nurse anesthetist, and I was always asking her how to care for people." Jeffrey would say he wanted to be a soldier and serve his country.

Who was one of your childhood idols?

My favorite movie star was "John Boy Walton" - not much of an idol, although he was a good role model for me. Jeffrey would tell you his idol was always his dad.

How long have you been a Christian?

I have been a Christian since the age of 13, and Jeffrey was 12. We were both raised in the Episcopal Church, and baptized as infants. We joined the Baptist Church and were baptized with immersion about 3 years ago, along with our children.
