How long have you been married?

We met at Holly Grove Church in 1991 and married April 16,1993 (13 years).

Children and ages:

Jennifer is 28, Mark is 26, Julie is 22, Heather is 20, Tiffanie is 18 and Jessica is 18 and we have a 5 year old Maltese named Gabriel.

What is your profession? 

Alan is a Senior VP/Information Systems with INSOUTH Bank headquartered in Brownsville TN. He has been with INSOUTH for 28 years.

Debbie is a AVP/Electronic Banking Officer with INSOUTH Bank. She has been with INSOUTH almost 10 years.

How long have you lived in Jackson?

We live in Brownsville TN. Alan has lived there all of his life and Debbie has lived there since 1980.

How long have you been a Christian?

Alan was saved at Holly Grove Church in Brownsville at the age of 9.
Debbie was saved in New Orleans, LA at the age of 9.

Where is your favorite place to eat?

We both like Outback Steakhouse, but Debbie also enjoys Red Lobster.

What is your favorite movie?

Alan’s favorite movie is Meet Joe Black. Debbie's favorite movie is Pretty Woman.

Where is your favorite place to go on vacation?

We really enjoy Florida. We took a majority of our Family vacations in Florida.

What was your first “real” job?

Alan was a stockman at Big Star, a grocery store in Brownsville TN. Debbie worked in the X-Ray Dept at Springdale Memorial Hospital in Springdale AR.

If you could do anything in the world without worrying about having enough money, education, or experience, what would you like to do?

Alan would go to the Holy Land. Debbie would purchase photography equipment and travel, taking photos.

Alan was born and raised in Brownsville, TN and Debbie was born in Memphis, TN and raised in New Orleans for 8 yrs and Springdale, AR for 9 yrs.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Alan wanted to be an Architect.
Debbie wanted to be a Teacher and Basketball Coach.

Who was one of your childhood idols?

Alan’s childhood idol was John Wayne. Debbie’s childhood idol was her grandmother, Mable Ruth Marbury.

Hobbies:

Alan’s hobbies are reading and traveling. Debbie’s hobbies are photography, scrapbooking, and working in the yard.
